Mary's Magic

This is a video and recording by an electronic music producer calling himself  Pogo. He uses small sounds and ambient noises from various live action and animated movies to make his songs. A lot of  people have heard his fairly well known song mix from the movie Up called Upular. You can learn a bit more about him at: http://www.pogomix.net/
This mix (Mary's Magic), is from the 1993 movie "The Secret Garden". The movie is based on the novel of the same name.

The Secret Garden was written by Frances Hodgeson Burnett and was first published in the fall of 1910 in a serial form. It wasn't published in complete form until 1911. The Secret Garden and A Little Princess (which is a subject for another post!) are two of my absolute favorite stories of all time. The Secret Garden has been adapted many times for movie and tv. But I think the '93 movie is one of favorites. Hey, it has Maggie Smith in it, enough said!

This mix has been out for awhile, but for me the magic never wears off. If  I'm having a particularly rough time, watching this video can bring the magic back to me.
